Holidays and special days-such as birthdays and anniversaries-are extremely difficult for those who have experienced the death of a loved one.

Although there are no easy ways to cope with heartache, this series will provide support and particular suggestions for "Handling Grief through the Holidays." The content of each week's session builds upon the previous week, so participants benefit most by attending all sessions.

"Healing the Heart" is offered as a community service by St. John Providence Hospice and St. Joan of Arc Church, and there is no charge. These groups are open to any adult who has lost a loved one due to death.
