It’s Easy Being Green!!

We are members of the St. Joan of Arc Green Team and
would like to tell you a little bit about what we do. Our main
goal is to help make the world a better place. We meet once
a month to find different ways to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.


Our newest project is the most exciting! With money we have raised, we were able to buy 3 recycling centers for the Family and Youth Center and we want to let you know how to use them. There will be 3 different ways to recycle in the Family and Youth Center:

The Green bins will be for Paper Only (i.e. reasonably clean paper plates, leftover paper from meetings, etc., but no napkins please!)

The Brown bins will be for Styrofoam (i.e. empty coffee cups and reasonably clean Styrofoam plates.)

The Blue bins will be for Plastic and Glass and Aluminum Cans (i.e. empty water bottles, wine bottles, pop cans, and reasonably clean plastic silverware.)

We hope that everyone will try their best to recycle as much as possible in the Family and Youth Center – it’s easy being green!
