First Rec/Communion Formation
- Sunday, October 13, 10 am - Sacrament Prep Blessing at Mass
- Monday, September 30, 6-7:15 pm – First Reconciliation Meeting – Parents and Children (School and Faith Formation). Includes dinner.
- Monday, January 27, 6-7:15 – First Communion Meeting – Parents and Children (School and Faith Formation)
- Tuesday, February 11 - First Reconciliation
- Thursday, March 20 – First Communion Parent and Child mini-retreat with Holy Hour (School and Faith Formation) 5:15-7:15 pm
- Date TBD First Communicants - Mass deconstructed and Family Mass for First Communion families
- First Communion is the first weekend in May. Saturday, May 3rd at 1 pm and 4 pm Mass.

Confirmation Formation
Required Confirmation Events
- Monday, September 16th – 7 pm Confirmation Meeting for year one and two parents and students (School and Faith Formation)
- Friday, November 22nd 4-8:30 pm. 8th-grade school and year-two Faith Formation students attend a retreat at SJA with OLSOS led by NET Ministries.
- Saturday, February 8th, Confirmation Interviews 9 am-noon
Our students in Grades 7 and older begin preparation for Confirmation
Confirmation formation at SJA is a two-year experience. Meetings for students enrolled in Faith Formation are generally on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:15-8 pm. Dinner is included. Second-year students who complete the requirements of the program are Confirmed at St. Joan of Arc in the spring.
Students enrolled in SJA School will do the bulk of their Confirmation preparation with their 7th- and 8th-grade classroom teachers.Our 1st and 2nd year Faith Formation Confirmation students meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:15 to 8 p.m. (This includes dinner.)

The fee is $150 per family after August 1st. There are additional materials fees for those preparing for sacraments - $60 for First Reconciliation & Eucharist, and $50 each year for Confirmation to cover books in year one and additional materials and the retreat in year two.
